We’re delighted that you’ve decided to join our friendly and inclusive running club. Signing up is quick and easy, simply fill in the form below once and we will send you a secure link to pay your membership fee through the England Athletics (EA) portal.
Our membership fee is paid annually on 1st April. The fee covers access to club training, club facilities and EA membership providing you with affiliated, discounted entry for races and discounted, sporting merchandise.

Full: £31.50
Age 60+: £25
Full time students/unemployed: £20
Second claim: £10
Associate: £1
Full, over 60 and full time student/unemployed: Access to Tuesday club runs and Thursday track sessions plus EA affiliation for those 18 years old and over.
Second claim: Your first club is your EA affiliated one and you can have as many second claim memberships as you wish. This means that you can run under your second claim club name if the rules of the race allow you to do so.
Associate: If you’re not a runner, being an associate member is the ideal way to get involved and support a family member in the club. It means you can join our closed Facebook group, keep up to date with all the latest club news and attend club social events.

EA Affiliation
Club affiliation and athlete registration form part of the UKA Rules for competition. Eligibility to enter competitions as a club or individual depends on affiliation (club) and registration (individual) status. The affiliation also includes the following non exhaustive list; insurance, subsidised event costs, eligibility to partake in events such as cross country, eligibility for club spaces at Virgin London Marathon, leaders and coaching support, access to running workshops, linked to Power of 10. Declaration
When you become a member or renew your membership with Dagenham 88 Runners you will automatically be registered as a member of EA. We will provide EA with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you called myAthletics. EA will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with EA, please contact dataprotection@englandathletics.org.
Please note that once you become a member of Dagenham 88 Runners, your membership is managed entirely through the myAthletics portal. You will need the email address that you registered with or your EA number to access the portal. It is your responsibility to ensure your details are correct and updated in the portal to ensure your membership is renewed every year.

I declare that I am an amateur as defined by the UK Athletics rules and that I will abide by these rules. I am medically fit and understand that I participate/enter in any club activities/events entirely at my own risk. I agree that Dagenham 88 Runners shall not be liable for any accidents, injury, loss, damage or claim or expense that may arise in consequence of my participation in club activities/events. I also consent to my personal data being stored and handled as per the above statement and privacy notice.
